During the early 2000’s as electronic music was still hidden from the masses, JD was finding hidden gems and creating mixes on cassettes and Technics 1200s. Having learnt the art of track selection and placement, he was able to weave long musical journeys that take the listener to the edge of understanding of what sound and music could be. It was not just the music that captivated him, but the essence of sound and frequency itself. Nowadays he spends his time producing and DJ’ing his music as a way to honour the artists and scene that gave him so much, so he can give back in return. Thus, creating his own expression to share with the world. Having played frequently at Sub Rosa nightclub in Fortitude Valley for events such as ‘Tranceformation’ , ‘Tranceclassics Festival (sold out), as well as ‘Pulse and Nubreed Events Trance Boat Party’ (sold out), Josh really knows how to get a party going.
