A Night Without Stars got it’s name while I was writing the melody. A beautiful, but sad sound. It made me think of cold damp autumn night back home in New York. A distorted bassline compliments the fast moving arpeggio, as well as shadowing the harmony. Put together, and they all lead to an explosive climax!
